For use in Automatic Dishwashers:
Gently squeeze bottle to dispense. Fill detergent receptacle of your dishwasher up to the fill line.
Amount will vary by dishwasher model, each manufacturer creates a receptacle that’s perfectly sized for the most efficient clean.
If desired, fill pre-wash compartment.

Is Rustic Strength Dishwasher Gel safe for septic systems?
Yes – Rustic Strength’s dishwasher gel is biodegradable, septic-safe and grey-water safe. It contains no bleach or phosphates that could disrupt septic bacteria, and all its ingredients are biodegradable. It’s formulated to rinse clean without leaving residues, so it won’t build up in your septic system.
Does this dishwasher gel work in hard water?
Absolutely. Rustic Strength gel was specifically formulated for hard water
performance. It includes a natural cleaning agent that softens water by binding
minerals, helping to prevent spots or film on dishes even in very hard water. For
extremely hard water, using a rinse aid can optimize results.
How many loads are in a bottle?
A 32 oz bottle provides up to 64 loads of dishes (when using the standard 0.5
oz per load). That’s roughly two months’ worth of daily dishwasher cycles in one
bottle.
Does it leave a scent on dishes?
Dishes come out smelling neutral – no heavy fragrance. The gel itself has a
light “Sunburst Citrus” scent from natural lemon, orange, grapefruit, and lime
essential oils. These oils help with cleaning and rinse away; they leave only a
faint fresh citrus note on wet dishes that disappears once dry (no perfumy
residue).
